Anna is coming too. She's arriving Wednesday (25th) and leaving on the 29th.
I talked to my boss at work, whose dad also had cancer. He said for the east coast Sloan-Ketter-ing Cancer Center is definitely the best in the area, and one of the 2 best in the east coast.
He didn't have a doctor to recommend though, b/c his dad (obviously) didn't have ovarian.
I can ask around some more.
In the meantime, he did recommend (like what Felicia is saying) that Aunt Lily feels
mentally/emotionally supported. He recommended that it's important that she has confidence in the doctor.
If you guys at any time feel like your doctor is way off, discuss it amongst yourselves and do your own research, but don't let her see you guys distraught and arguing with each other.
But don't keep her in the dark either. He said his family always made sure
his dad knew all the facts so he could make decisions clearly without being too flustered.
I know.. easy for me to say, right? But, I thought I would pass along the advice from someone who has
been there before. Anyway, we'll come see her this weekend. I'll give Steven a call.
